The crisis reaches its breaking point in 2040 when a Kessler syndrome event sends most of the world's orbiting satellites crashing to Earth, triggering a permanent global blackout. With communications, navigation, and infrastructure crippled, long-simmering tensions between the last two remaining superpowers, the United States and Russia, boil over into open war by 2042. Amid this fractured landscape, the displaced No-Pats and rival forces clash across storm-ravaged battlefields around the world, fighting for survival and dominance in a planet reshaped by disaster.
